As many of you will know, from the early 2007 John was increasingly affected by Motor Neurone Disease. John fought MND as long as he could. He was determined not to let it stop him doing all the things he loved doing. It didn’t stop him and Mum last year celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary. He carried on publishing and giving talks and writing to people around the world. However, this is not yet one of those diseases anyone knows how to beat; and, on 2nd April 2008, John lost his fight against MND. Along the way John and Jean received an amazing amount of support from the Care Team and from the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We’ve asked for donations to the latter, if you so wish.
